The Publix Thunder Road Marathon Health & Wellness Expo is dedicated to the kind of life runners lead! The Blake Hotel will be jam-packed with local and national vendors in step with the runners’ healthy lifestyle including sponsors, vendors and exhibits featuring the latest trends in running, fitness equipment, footwear, apparel and more!
The Publix Thunder Road Marathon Health & Wellness Expo serves as the packet pick-up location and registration location for all races.

Packet Pick-up
There will be NO Race Day Packet Pick-ups.
Gear Check
Gear check is available to full and half-marathon participants ONLY starting at 6:30AM just outside the Charlotte Convention Center. You will receive a gear check bag, not a race goody bag, at registration. Attach the label that is in the envelope with your bib number and timing chip to the gear check bag.
Feel the Thunder
The Thunder Road NASCAR Cup Show Car will be on display courtesy of Comp-Cal. Get your photo taken in front of the car and the Charlotte City Skyline at the Publix Thunder Road Marathon Health & Wellness Expo on Friday, November 16. After starting the races on Saturday, November 17, the car will be on display for photo opportunities at the finish line.
Virtual Race Bag
Charlotte’s Thunder Road Marathon has partnered with Virtual Race Bags to produce a 'virtual goodie bag' in an effort to ‘go green’ and provide additional benefits to our participants. As a participant of this year's event you will receive an email invitation to the Virtual Race Bag prior to the event giving you access to the bag. In the race bag you will find an array of valuable information including our official event guide, exclusive offers, coupons, giveaways, and messages from our sponsors.
But wait, there’s more! Immediately after the event, the race bag updates to include race results. Now participants will receive another email invitation to visit their ‘results bag’ and also have a final opportunity to take advantage of the offers and goodies before the bag closes.
